Cabinets of curiosities, also known as ‘wonder rooms’, were small collections of extraordinary objects which, like today’s museums, attempted to categories and tell stories about the wonders and oddities of the natural world. Today, you can find such a place in the heart of the Negev Deseret but with a digital interactive twist.
The dazzling room uniquely presents inspiring collections and marvels from all over the world, enabling each visitor to embark on an independent journey of curiosity, inquiry, and discovery.
Through a game interface you can choose to travel around the world or back in time, and even discover curiosities out in the open desert vistas.
The visit stimulates self-study, curiosity and asking questions, and especially encourages visitors to learn and discover within the physical space of the Cabinet of Curiosities.
